Privacy policy
Bumelerze is an independent earthquake monitoring system for Kurdistan and Iraq.
What we collect
- Felt reports, only when you choose to send one: the shaking level you pick, any optional details, an optional photo or comment, your location if you allow it, and the time.
- Feedback, only when you choose to send it: your message, an optional contact address, optional screenshots, and the app version, language and platform.
- An anonymous launch count: when the app opens it records a coarse region (city scale) and the platform, with no identifier.
How we use it
Felt reports are combined into community shaking maps. Your individual report and your exact location are never published. Feedback is used to improve the app. We do not sell or share your data, and the app contains no advertising and no third-party trackers.
Location
Location is requested only while you use the app and only with your permission. If you decline, the app still works and you can pick your town from a list instead.
Your data
To ask about or delete the reports tied to your install, write to dev@bumelerze.com and quote the device ID shown inside the app.
